I always thought the best inground pool cleaner was a pressure washer. I mean, why bother with anything else? It’s just water, right? Wrong. Pressure washing your pool is not only ineffective but it can also damage your liner or plaster finish.
The best way to clean an inground pool is by using a commercial grade inground robotic cleaner designed for this purpose.
This article will show you what features are important when purchasing one of these cleaners and which ones are worth spending more money on so that you don’t have to buy another one every year.

Best Inground Pool cleaner Reviews
I’ve been through a lot of vacuums in my day.
From the dirt-cheap to the really expensive, but nothing has compared to how well this one works. I have 2 electric side brushes and an upper/lower brush roll combo which makes it easy for me to get into every nook and cranny on both sides without much effort at all (not that any other cleaners could ever compare).
It’s also got great suction power so you can pick up even more dirt than usual from your carpets or floors–and when coupled with its long-running time between charges this means no heavy lifting required during cleanings either. Plus thanks to Aquabot technology.]
After deciding to buy the top of my line this time,
I was worried that it would be too good and stop working after 30 minutes as last year’s model did.
But out-of-the-box it worked perfectly without any issues whatsoever. So far it’s been great in cleaning up all kinds of dirt or bacteria from pools that other robotic cleaners miss — including stuff couldn’t even see before owning one myself (and you know how much room there is).
After 6 successful runs on full cycles with no error messages at all; We finally got ready for winter by filling up some empty Cleanovid bags

I was disappointed that the DX4 did not climb up enough to my waterline or pick up all of the leaves. However, it cleaned up a winter’s worth of algae in hours and I started with an ultra-fine filter basket which is great for catching debris like tiny crustaceans.
After the water cleared I switched to normal fine filters and it picked up everything with ease. The pool is located in a heavily forested area so there are lots of natural items, like leaves, etc.
, that get stuck on surfaces around our facility which would otherwise go unnoticed by other pools due to more open scenery nearby theirs; however this did not affect how well my new filter cleaned because Donald (the name given by owner) had been doing an excellent job beforehand.

I have been having a tough time cleaning my pool lately with the old vacuum.
It was starting to leave patches of missed areas and I knew it would only get worse as years went on so one day while reading through bis instructions booklet for this brand new hoover ( Hayward)
there were some things that caught my eye like not coiling up any of these pipes or tubes when storing them because they can kink easily. So lesson learned here: read thoroughly before operating anything).
I would leave it there like that for days. DO NOT DO THIS. Apparently, this creates a memory in the hose and it will mess with your cleaning map –
I could never figure out why my hoses got all tangle up, or which areas of the pool were being neglect most by me during maid duty?
Now though- now everything makes sense when you read through those directions… Sometimes reading them really does pay off; they can teach us so much about our own home without even realizing what we’re learning at first glance (or maybe just too impatient).
Anyway: if money isn’t an object then opt for something higher quality than this one because sometimes cheaper products don’t always live up to expectations after all…
But considering how well made these
This summer I finally got to enjoy my pool the way it was meant to be used.
My kids are in heaven, and so am I. The only downside is that there’s no way for me or them to clean out all of those built-up particles at the bottom which makes swimming more difficult than necessary but thankfully this new invention has come along
– It looks like some kind of robot vacuum cleaner but instead works on cleaning down below where your water meets ground (or whatever surface you have).
Setting everything up took about five minutes tops then once paired with the wifi instruction manual had clear.
My kids have been playing in the backyard with their friends since we got our pool. Now that summer is coming, they’re always asking when can we go swimming again? It’s so good to finally answer “yes.”
We never think about it before because winter was my favorite season of all. But then one year everything change and now there are no more lazy days spent cooped up inside on weekdays or weekends.
When you live somewhere where temperatures drop below freezing every night during wintertime (like us), having an opportunity for some exercise by taking advantage of your home’s outdoor area becomes even more important than usual
For the price, this actually works really well at keeping our above-ground pool clean. It climbs up and down walls with its random pattern to scrub away any algae that may have collect on them.
Recently or in passing years before then- maintaining an almost maintenance-free exterior for us. homeowners who just want their pools looking good without having too much work put into it.

I was skeptical when it first arrived. Lots of plastic china-looking parts that didn’t seem like they would last or work well, but much to my surprise this thing is awesome.
I use it a few times per week on our 12×30 swimming pool; haven’t seen any signs yet pointing towards failure – Probably because there are so many little pieces?
That said if something does break (which isn’t likely), Bissell offers great customer service with replacement plans available 100% guaranteed in case anything happens.
You know how you can tell that it’s summertime when the pool pump starts whirring away, making sure everything is clean?
Well, I’m not ready to give up on those times. This vacuum will keep my filter happy and save me from having an extra-large schedule of maintenance.
Plus cost-wise it’s just right for what we need – backwashing small dirt particles out through big pipes isn’t always easy with this kind of setup but thankfully now there are easier solutions thanks.
InGround Pool Cleaner Buying Guide
There are four different types of pool cleaners you can choose from. These machines cost anywhere from $50-2,000 with robotic ones on the higher end and come in various shapes and sizes for either above-ground or below water use; some work well both ways while others only do one type very efficiently.
Manual pool vacuums, or handhelds
There are many types of pool cleaners, but manual ones can be find for under $100. These hand-held devices use a bag to catch debris and put it in an attached filter which cleans your water by removing dirt particles from its surface layer. The best part about these tools? They’re easy enough that even kids should take care not to get their hands dirty.
Pressurized vacuums or pressure-side pool cleaners
Pressure-side pool cleaners work by sticking to the ground or walls of your swimming area and can use either as a vacuum with no booster pump for quick cleanups or attache to one that’s need depending on what you’re cleaning up.
The benefits include: staying put while working; an increased power kick when necessary (depending on if there’s dirt stuck near corners); ability to stay submerged longer since it doesn’t take extra effort
Suction-side vacuums rely on the pool’s filter too, specifically with a skimmer or vacuum line. These don’t come with individual bags and cartridges but instead redirect debris to be collected by them in an efficient manner for easy disposal later on when necessary.
Robotic pool cleaners
Robotic pool cleaners are machines you can let loose in your swimming pools without much supervision. These generally feature anti-slip wheels, which allow them to climb walls, scrub waterlines and sweep the entire pool with relative ease. Some models have programmable timers that let owners set up the day/hour length of time they run each week for best results.
Are our automatic pool cleaners worth it?
One of the best things about owning an automatic pool cleaner is that you no longer have to spend your weekends scrubbing it yourself.
You can take care of all those dirty jobs for less money by hiring professionals who will do everything in their power. Whether they’re cleaning, maintaining or managing pools- these machines are smart investments with many benefits.
The best part is that you can clean your pool as often or infrequently, depending on what works for the size and chemicals of water in each location. You’ll likely end up using fewer chemicals too.
The final benefit? Cleaning a swimming pool every few weeks keeps it cleaner longer-lasting healthier than if they were left dirty all summer long
How long do automatic pool cleaners last?
The average lifespan of an automatic pool cleaner is 2-8 years,
but some types can last 5 or even 8.
Pressure and suction side cleaners typically live shorter lives at around the five-year mark while Dolphin models often come equipped with long-lasting features like robotic capabilities which could make them more susceptible to dying earlier due to their advanced technology (Dolphins).
How often should I clean my pool?
It’s important to remember that every pool situation is different. Some people enjoy their pools daily, whereas other families only use them weekly orbiway – so cleaning frequency varies from person to person.
If you have a family who enjoys going into the water each day and would prefer not to have any dirt particles getting in between then they won’t mind coming home once a week for maintenance purposes.
It takes about 10 minutes of work on top of your regular chores with just an automatic cleaner as opposed to 2 hours by hand scrubbing away at these stains using soap sudsing technique which usually leaves us all dripping wet anyways.
